Position Requirements > Contract Analyst

The Contract Analyst is responsible for providing added support to Operations, Land and Executive Management regarding contract management issues from the proposal stage through contract closeout. Contract Analyst will conduct front-end strategic assessment of A&D opportunities and ensure compliance of proposals, contracts, subcontracts and briefs. Act as support for Management to ensure compliance with cost, schedule and technical objectives and to ensure compliance with contract terms, including insurance, invoicing, confidentiality, disbursements, security, contract closeout and other issues required by contract. Other duties may include property set-ups for wells and facilities, preparing working interest notices and land summaries, contract set-ups in database, performing due diligence researching land ownerships, and other assignments.

This position requires a highly-motivated, team oriented individual with a BS/BA and a minimum of three to five (3- 5) years Oil and Gas "Land" experience as well as knowledge of all facets of contract and subcontract management. Applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work under deadlines. Candidates need to have a strong math aptitude with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision as well as proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Access.
